Abstract
The author claims that graphic errors should be an element to take into account in the evaluation of lexical interferencies in written transmission, as they might be as important as fonological adaptations are in oral transmission. In order to demonstrate this claim the term aribut found in the latin translation of Avicena's Canon is used to present a series of diachronic methods of analysis.
