Abstract
Although the literary Orientalism from the end of the 19th century was nourished, in most of the productions, by a number of topics which had more to do with the Occidental fantasy than with a true Muslim reality, it is true that there were also valid examples of a cultural approach. Such is the case of the traslation of the poems composed by Si Mohand, a contemporary Berber poet, who was introduced in Spain in the early date 1914 by Isaac Muñoz, a writer from Granada.
