Abstract

In this article I intend to show that the pragmatic component or the grammar can accede to the 'hard nucleus' of the Morphology: This field is known as Morpho-pragmatics in the Topologico-Natural Pragmatics model (Calvo 1993). This access becomes evident in the morphemic and in flexematic order too: the first of these is the Lexical Pramatics and the second the Pragma-semantics / Pragma-Syntax pair, offered to us in bidirectional confrontation. It is considered, furthermore, that Pragmatics, which has in other languages word slots to introduce evidentials, provides a special one in Spanish in relation to diminutive, augmentative and pejorative suffixes. Other phenomena of morphological creativity of the speakers in the context of their interactions lead to senses that would have no explanation without this sublevel of morphological representation Because of that, any model that refuses this component (as Generative Grammar models do) does not seem to be able to solve the problems we are referring to.
