History of RESED

Resed began its journey in 2013 and publishes one issue per year between February and May. In its early days, the journal was hosted on the website of the Faculty of Education, promoted by the dean's office, to whom we are grateful for their work.

In just a few years, thanks to the Publications Service of the University of Cadiz, the journal's website is now navigable and functional, allowing quick access to content. With the OJS system, which has been in use since 2017, more data has been incorporated and we have hosted issues prior to 2017 on the platform.

MILESTONES OF THE JOURNAL

From the initial stages of the journal, the milestones achieved are listed below with the http link in the list of pages included:

  • Sherpa Romeo has been integrated into a new platform called Open Policy Finder, of which we are now a part.
  • Elements suggested by DOAJ are updated (08/07/2025)
  • In December 2024, RESED obtains a positive evaluation from SJIF
  • In October 2024, Dialnet incorporates RESED metrics
  • The 2025 monograph collaborates with the University of Murcia and with ICOSSOD2024 organised by INDESS: ‘Towards Equitable and Sustainable Development. Perspectives from Europe and America’
  • Since January 2024 Our figures are incorporated into the LENS database
  • New seal for RESED in February 2023 in 2022 = 5,772 (Scientific Journal Impact Factor Value for 2022).
  • RESED accepted into the IRESIE database since May 2022
  • Incorporated into ÍnDICEs-CSIC in November 2021

A Long Road to Equality with ISBN 978-84-125351-1-2. All of them were published in collaboration with CC. de la Educación and INDESS.
  • In February 2019, to mark the magazine's seventh anniversary, we presented issue 7 in its print edition. We enjoy making these presentations to celebrate our longevity.
  • In April 2014, we launched our social media and research networks with a Facebook page. In 2016, we joined Twitter. The journal is present on ResearchGate and has a page on Google Scholar.

The journal receives support from INDESS for the consolidation of electronic journals in 2022 and from the Publications Service (UCA) in 2022.
