La Educación STEM en Química: un enfoque colaborativo para la realización de actividades de laboratorio a distancia

Resumen

Los elevados costos del equipo y mantenimiento de los laboratorios de Química son un obstáculo para la enseñanza de calidad de esta ciencia. Sin embargo, la emergencia de herramientas tecnológicas de fácil uso y bajo costo ayuda a mitigar este problema. Así, se presenta una propuesta STEM para la exploración de una destilación de forma colaborativa, en un laboratorio a distancia con la transmisión y la compartición de los datos en línea, en directo. El enfoque fue analizado por 4 profesores de Mozambique que, en ese contexto, destacan positivamente el potencial intercambio de conocimientos entre escuelas y culturas y, negativamente, la falta de medios tecnológicos en las escuelas para su realización. Reconocen gran potencial para la implementación en la educación superior, ya que las instituciones tienen mejores recursos. De este modo, pueden promoverse experiencias de aprendizaje más ricas para todos los involucrados.
