Abstract

This article describes a didactic experience that replaces the traditional work at science laboratory for practical tasks conducted at student homes with the assistance of ICT, in the framework of a research-action that aims the improvement of the educational practice. Contextualized in the field of Biology and Geology of the Bachelors first grade, it shows the new possibilities of the video as an educational resource from the tools offered by the web. Its advantages include implication and motivation, implementation of research skills, team work and temporary extension of the subject.
