Abstract
The aim of this paper is to demonstrate that the conceptual tools of the metaoperational grammar (Henri Adamczewski) permit explain (not simply describe!) the functioning of the Spanish operators en efecto and efectivamente. These operators of sentence-building that targets the predicative link. Our assumption is that the speaker when using efectivamente presents himself as a guarantor of the predicative link that has just been presented as an object of discourse. With en efecto however the speaker presents himself in a neutral point of vue.
