Cognitive treatment of quantifying temporal modifiers combined with the past perfect tense in English and Spanish

Abstract
The meanings of the temporal modifiers get an especific treatment as being groups with different functions: durativity, frequency or mean a concrete point in time. Accordingly, a unified criterium with multiple possibilities can be drawn in English and Spanish, and thus, obtaining an appropriate classification to encode the parametres which take part in the cognitive construction of each temporal modifier associated to the Present Perfect. Our interest is mainly focus on the cognitive design of these modifiers, especially those which imvolve quantification, and on the interactions with the Present Perfect. We will define the appropriate semantics to this codification and we will analize the data estatistically with SPAD. This method implies a direct application to computational linguistics by encoding the cognitive processes between the temporal modifiers an the Present Perfect.
