Stratégies de réponse au compliment par des universitaires espagnols et japonais

Résumé
Cet article présente un étude heuristique et contrastive sur les différentes stratégies utilisées par étudiants universitaires espagnols est japonais quand ils répondent à un compliment sur l'apparence, les capacités, les possessions ou l´appartenance à un centre de hautes études particulier. Les données comprennent 943 stratégies employées dans 480 réponses aux compliments apportées par 40 étudiants, dont
20 de langue maternelle espagnole et 20 japonais, 10 hommes et 10 femmes respectivement. Pour collecter les données on a utilisé le Discourse Completion Test comme instrument qui a été administré en ligne. Les macro-stratégies préférées par les deux groupes étaient l'acceptation et les évaluations positives (remerciement, explications et commentaires
positifs). Toutefois, les données du corpus japonais ont révélé une plus grande utilisation du rejet par rapport à leurs homologues espagnols. D’autre part, ils ont également enregistré leur propre stratégie pour chaque corpus.
