Résumé

Cet article est une réponse au compte rendu fait par Mme. Carretero de mon libre Los verbos modales ingleses Estudio semántico-pragmático (cf ce volume-ci). Mme. Carretero souligne divers aspects problématiques de notre perspective d'étude et propose à se sujet une série d'exemples illustratifs. Cependant, notre travail essaiera de contredire les critiques effectuéesà partir du modèle suıvı dans le livre en question.
