Abstract

In the present article there are analyzed the alternative conceptions that there have the students of different educational levels on the lymphatic system as component of the circulatory device. A relation is established with the difficulties that were saved along the history in the acquisition of the above mentioned knowledge. The results show a deficient relation between the lymphatic and blood systems, an absence of both anatomical and physiological knowledge of the lymphatic system and a difficulty to extend the explanatory model of the transport of nutrients in the animal organisms centred exclusively on the blood system. It concludes by offering a proposal of didactic planning so that it can gradually develop internal transport model built.
