Abstract
School visits to museums and science centers are considered as a powerful learning resource given its playful and didactic potential but it is necessary that visits are integrated into classroom programming to optimize that learning. In this work we have tried to design and build bridges between school needs and what the museum offers, to ensure that future teachers acquire teaching skills that allow them to prepare a visit focused on learning. To that end we made a "proposal for initial teacher training" consisting of designing and implementing a teaching sequence (TS) centered on a visit to the science center. The study done on that TS provides evidence that there has been an improvement in the pedagogic knowledge of students regarding school visits to museums, but there are still areas for improvement. Keywords
