Curricular proposals for the initial training of Secondary Education teachers in the attention to sexual diversity and the prevention of homophobia
Abstract
Consistent with the high levels of homophobia found among Secondary Education students, the results of the few studies that have evaluated teacher training in these issues point to significant initial formative deficiencies of the future teaching staff in the attention to the sex education and prevention of homophobia. Given these results, the present article formulates a series of curricular proposals for the initial formation of the teachers in these questions from the analysis of the initial formation that they receive in the Master of Secondary.
