Abstract
The poor outcomes of Israeli youth in the PISA tests in recent years have outraged educational policy makers and teachers involved in science education in Israel. In this paper we describe some features of the training of pre and in-service secondary teachers in Israel, highlighting the most recent reforms undertaken and especially those items that can be especially specific compared to Spanish context.Keywords
