Abstract
The attitude toward science of preschool children has been little studied even being a very important educational stage. As well as the learning issue, this study assessed attitude after an active strategy of education: Classroom science center. Sixty children participated (from two groups: experimental-control) and evaluated (pre-post). Furthermore, sex has been considered. Results show that children have a very positive attitude toward science, noticeably increased in those who learn within this strategy. Learnings verbalized by children in the experimental group are much higher, highlighting its significance and the acquisition of certain habits and attitudes. No sex differences have been determined. This Centre is displayed as a valuable strategy for early education and stimulation of science. Keywords
