Abstract
A series of activities carried out with a small synchronous motor used in a common household appliance is presented. With few adaptations and some elements allows building simple devices that can be very useful for teaching electricity and magnetism. These devices were used in laboratory practices of a physics teacher training subject at the National University of General Sarmiento (UNGS).
