Abstract
We present a discussion about how we understand the training of chemistry teachers and how it develops himself, in a university in Argentina. There are described the central aspects that orientate the above mentioned formation and the problematic ones that motivate the reflection, which include also the arisen ones in relation with a process of evaluation that is beginning in the country, for the University Professorships. It is emphasized in the curricular design of the Chemistry Teaching Training, attending to the aspects that are relevant, in the frame of the discussion that is done here. Also there are mentioned some features of the permanent training that these professionals have to realize.Keywords
