Abstract
In this paper we propose the construction of a simple microscope recreating the operating principle of Leeuwenhoek microscope, using in this case a camera lens of a cell phone. With this device we can observe and take pictures of cellular structures, whose enlarged images allow to see some tiny details. Details are provided to build the microscope in a simple way with common materials. We also report the implementation of the proposal with students of a teacher training institute and the obtained results. Keywords
