Abstract
"ít seems to us extremely difficult lo solve the problem of the non-literal uses of the language from a merely semantic scope. In fact the same statement can be interpreted of literal, metaphorical or ironic form, depending on the use context. Let us think that the searliane theory, (the metaphor is an example of how the meaning of the speaker and the phrasal or lexical meaning diverge), supposes an essential point for the later pragmatic studies.
