Eppur si muove: a contextualized sequence of inquiry and scientific communication on the Sun-Earth astronomic system
Info
Abstract
An inquiry sequence on the Sun-Earth astronomic system is described. The sequence starts from several contextual references (objects, words, spaces) that are manipulated and interpreted by the students. Through the didactic sequence, students learn to research and communicate science using several scaffolding strategies (language, analysis, structure), and relate the scientific models of rotation and traslation with observable phenomena in a real context
