Abstract
Molecules with antimicrobial activity, especially antibiotics, are studied in Compulsory Secondary Education. In this practical activity we show an act of serendipity, through the observation of antibiotic activity by bacteria on fungi in a sampling of heterotrophic microorganism colonies, as well as its impact and discussion on the teaching of science.Keywords
